Lego Minifigure Costume

Michael really wanted to be a Lego minifigure for Halloween this year.  JP used foam board, painter's tape and a glue gun to construct the body of the costume.

Michael found a Lego mini-figure from his stash and JP copied the design onto the front of the costume.  Michael painted it mostly with a little help from JP and I.

We outlined it again with a fat black sharpie after painting and used a silver sharpie for the zipper and buttons.

Instead of making the mask and hands, we opted just to buy them from Amazon.

It turned out great!

Roller skating...

 Michael's first time on skates.

It was a Minecraft themed party and Michael made this cute tic-tac-toe game for his friend!

He finally tried to brave the rink!

Fun Fridays: Cooking

I'm really behind in posting, but a couple of weeks ago for Fun Fridays the boys did a cooking lesson. We made one of my friends' recipes for Homemade Tortillas.

Ingredients:

After making a batch of tortillas, we used them to make tortilla pizzas and dessert pizzas.

Sam liked the pizzas best, but Michael's favorite was, as always, dessert!
